Hi Lads
Planning to come up 13 Aug for the weekend ; hows the water leavel ; wots the weed like on sewer bank . thanks for you help .

I think there's a fair bit of weed floating about mate , but these winds should push it all ashore

Hi lads
We have had a bit of rain over the last few days down here in yorkshire , has the rain started to get into the loch , i hear it was very low back in june ( need some bank space there is 4 of us coming up on the 14/15 Aug ) i now weeks away :( .

Scott I was on the fishery last night some good bream out one lad had 9 fish overnight and two lads had PBs a nice 11lb Bream out and a 20lb pike.
Water is very low just now we have a bit of weed floating about just now hopefully with all this wind it will blow up the banking..

I was there on thursday and had to move back up the bank due to the rising water level. This was on a bank with a very shallow gradient so it would only take an inch or two to push a long way up the bank.

please keep the info coming ; its good to know how the loch is doing some we all can plan the fishing trips with the info everyone puts on the forum . :D :D

Whats the score with getting day tickets we came up last year but i cant rember how we got are tickets?

We are up on the 12th Aug we booked ower tickets on line just done 4 lads you have to do them 1 at a time go to the link on to fishcoarse castleloch pay with your card print tickets off its that simple it must be i can do it :lol: :lol:

hi lads fished the loch last week 21st -23rd july both myself and my son had an 11lb bream plus acouple of eight pounders david also caught an eel about 2lb fish seemed to show up about 8.30 each evening thanks again to martin for his help
