Stick at it Martn - one of the Best Fisheries in Scotland

Could maybe do with a few more Carp, couple of Big Koi's, Grassies, Sturgeon & Cats

I agree with last poster it will ALL come good next year

Some things are sent to test us

I for one believe that Castle holds a Pike around the 40lb Mark

Agree with all the rest, If we were more local we would be on the loch a lot more, its a fantastic magestic fishery that i have fished since 1984........it needs the likes of you martin and bruce to keep it that way........and we all hope for a great 2010 season with good weather and no more natural disasters........when u land on them bream there is no better fishing in the uk...........have a good christmas and we will be in touch in the new year for a bream trip perhaps come march/april..........see you then............Ade

Thanks for your support lads ,however this one is purely a financial decision .We have run the fishery for over 8 years now and unfortunately the last 2 both Bruce and I have invested a fair bit of our own cash . Now time to take stock of what we want to do with the fishery.
We will keep everyone informed on what we decide to do in the spring.Whatever we decide to do both of us will continue to fish the castle and we still will keep the pike water on.
So everyone have a Happy Christmas and dont over indulge

BY THE WAY FISHERY STILL FROZEN OVER.

Hi Martin/Bruce

Can only echo what has been said on the forum, a fantastic fishery. I always see the castle as a grown ups fishery ( attitude not age). It can be hard to fish as its a natural venue, but a bit of thought and use of knowledge can produce a special result. Always have appreciated what you guys have done and always a pleasure meeting yourselfs and the bailifs. The scenery and wildlife can be breathtaking, I am sure things will turn a round. I dont know of any other venue that can offer the chance of a PB for so many species on a day ticket. Looking forward to this year already, thinking about a campaign to target the big carp, can always catch a few other species while waiting ;) . seasons best and hope you realise that what you guys do is appreciated.
