we had a 12lb Tench out 2 years ago the lad that caught it did not have a camera he sent a photo from his phone but not a good one.
Bruce and I have seen huge tench at the bird hide in the past.
Who knows what size we have :?: :?:
lads on the sewer bank had a good session at the weekend and one season permit holder just past the cottage had 30 bream out in one night.

please note no cars down at the cottage or the owners will lock the gate this is private property keep out.....

All,

Fished Saturday night in the barrels. 7 bream in total to just shy off 11lb.
Horrendous weather pouring down and blowing a hooly into the sewer bank. Brought rods in at 2am as couldn't face the weather, still getting fish at this point. Rods back in at 6:30am and got one more fish approx 8am. Approx 20 balls of bait to 40 yards and then 15 spods of pellet/maize/hemp over the top. More bait than i would normally put in but it worked.

Going back on this weekend.

One more bumper session to report Colin Glover was in season permit bank and fished for two days and had well over 60 Bream (600lb) all in good condition.
The sewer bank is also fishing well just now with a huge tench out at the weekend. Unfortunately we wont be reaching for the record books as it was just under 10lb and some great catches of Bream of the sewer bank,
Tench have been seen feeding at the first jetty why not try the the good old way and rake a swim and feed (lightly) it good chance it will work ;)

Dont go filling your swim in with bait the fish have wised up to this, more than likely you will spoil your swim and the two next to you

Arrived Friday 23rd July Started Late Evening, Had sleep break from 1 till 4.30 finished to 11am Saturday.......Started again Saturday late evening and fished through the night till Sunday at 11 am..

Had 70 Bream between 2 of us with an above average stamp of 9-10lb fish, Handfulls of fish that were doubles and the odd clonker that went 11-12 lb

Well think I shall be on this weekend, whats working :?: beds of bait or the single bag approach, would hate to get on somewhere ie sewer bank and ruin it for others putting too much bait in.

Pm's welcome
