Andy,
A word with me on Saturday when I came round the fishery would have sorted out the boozy anglers.
We have taken our eye off the fishery for a few weeks and a few bad habits are now starting to appear someone is fishing with 6 or 8lb line for pike this will be sorted out soon  :| and traces left in fish THIS IS NOT ON..
I removed 3 boozed up so called anglers on Friday. Its the start of the season and we always get one or two trying their luck for the next few weeks I will have a team of baillifs on the fishery pity help anyone removed by Bruce ;)
Dont argue with an Idiot !
They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience !

never thought about it, as they were leaving on the sat.

we removed a set of trebbles from a fish on saturday which had been left in the fish and line cut.
massive trebbles with very light line attached.

some stupid people out there.

What a beauty ! a handling mat in use too nice one ;)

If that's a 17lber and I do not doubt it ! how bigs that one Martins holding :?:

Martin - Go for it with the Drunken Bivvy Chavs they are everywhere now :x . No one wants to stop a bit of fun but once the beer gets hold they become a danger to the fish and themselves .They will be the death of our sport :x

I Agree m8 give them a good kicking if we are up there an see anybody behaving in a disgracefull manor they will be going for a swim this type of behavor gives us real alcoholics a bad name    everybody likes a tin or 2 when fishing but to get absolutly smashed is not the way to be i think a lot of the younger generation are useing fishing as an excuse for a mad weekend away they should go camping if that is there intention it just gives the wrong impression to people that come down for the bird watching and sightseers :| and not forgeting the locals :)

Picture does not show it very well, plus i'm not small myself, 6'2" and 15 stone.
The fish were very broad and fat.

The bin in a car park was completely full with bottles and cans of lager when i left on sunday.
at least they are binning the stuff.

The bivvy chavs as you describe them are a curse that seems to be spreading north from our way. Everywhere you go here they seem to be there. They are the only people who are willing to go out in this weather for some reason , usualy they are isolated to mud puddles in the summer.

I think our first bream trip this year is going to be in may , so if any bream start coming out before then , do let us kno wont you :D :D

I was driving up the M74 this afternoon so thought I'd nip across for a look - it was looking wild! There was a howling wind blowing on to the sewer bank and the gulls and terns were making a heck of a racket towards the middle of the loch.
I did wonder if it may be worth a bash for the bream from the sewer bank given the wind direction and strength. What say you guys who have fished it more than me?
